Сначала относился с неким недоверием к дискорду, и пользовался всем известной программой. Однако, потихоньку почти все мои друзья начали пользоваться им, и я не остался в стороне. Поначалу всё было слишком непонятно. Очень много второстепенных функций, которые рядовому пользователю нафиг не сдались. Но вскоре я приспособился, так как по сравнению со скайпом здесь есть множество плюсов. Основной - качество связи, ибо сколько я уже не пользовался звонками - не было ни одной просадки. Помимо этого, как я заметил, многие стримеры на твиче имеют свое сообщество в дискорде, и я считаю это очень удобным для фанатов. Прежде всего не стоит забывать, что дискорд как раз таки идеально приспособлен для стримеров и геймеров своим интерфейсом. Когда я играл в WoW, использование различных комнат очень упрощало наш геймплей. Ставлю 5, так как считаю возможно лучшим приложением этого типа.

Worst customer support in all the companies I've ever used. I paid for a gift of Nitro+ (the expensive one). I redeemed the gift. What I didn't know was I was logged in another account via the web browser. It doesn't even say on the gift confirmation page (only a redeem or exit). Considering you can't even redeem via the app, this is a pretty dumb design. As a gesture of goodwill that I wasn't just after a free month's of Nitro or w/e, I decided to pay for another and then contact customer services. It takes them approximately 1 day to respond and they responded with pretty much you're out of luck. To be honest I wasn't expecting a refund but I was hoping for a response with a bit more empathy and any other company would either a) issue a refund or b) award me with a month of nitro. Considering I don't even use the other account and haven't even logged in since redeeming it, I really feel mugged off, especially for paying for another month. I can't support a company like this. TLDR; company is not on your side, use at own risk. Should be fine in the most cases but if anything did arise, they clearly won't even try to help. And yet, here I am, comparing Discord, the most popular chat for gamers, with Slack, the biggest hype in the team communication history. Luckily, some of my colleagues at work are a hell of gamers as well as heavy Discord users. They’ve helped me out by sharing expert opinion regarding Discord. I will not write about all the benefits that were created for ease of use, but this messenger is one of the best on the market. Discord looks much fresher and more modern than Skype, Wire and even Whatsapp. I don't like just one thing in this product - is adult stuff and a lot of stupid content.
